Starting out with a single tail can be an intimidating prospect.  A good single tail is relatively expensive, takes knowledge to select, can take some time and effort to master and is commonly thought to be a very intense toy.  All of these aspects can make the first experiences with a single tail difficult to come to terms with.  I hope, through sharing my
knowledge and skill, to take away some of the difficulty of selecting, practicing with and using a single tail for the first time. This presentation will take folks through all the major milestones in starting out.  It will cover whip selection and care, safety issues associated with single tails, some simple and basic throwing techniques, and practice and play strategies.  All directed toward bringing a person from the simple desire to use a single tail in SM play up to playing with a single tail. My presentation will include a short, basic demonstration of the whips and techniques,  followed by a discussion of these topics, finishing up with a question and answer segment.  This being a beginning class, I encourage all to ask any question they have.  No question is basic that it should not be voiced.  This is a class for the novice, the beginner to start to learn.
